I don’t have a title for this piece yet, maybe it’s “Untitled”, but I’ll come up with something cute and clever at some point. The piece is 40 in. x 30 in. of oil and acrylic paint on canvas, and was painted in 2022..

It’s a self portrait and it’s loosely based on my quiet time and stretching time in the morning which really helps to keep my racing mind and aging body tuned up. I breeeeeeathe, I try and empty my mind, I try and keep any noises out which usually means I do it in my garage to be alone, and you know I use that foam roller and streeeeeeeeetch.. 5:00-5:45 every week day.

The patterns and colors I used were just meant to add some visual funk.
